The SP-18 places the compressor and condenser outside the conditioned space. The cabin or enclosure air unit can then be positioned where cooling and air circulation are needed.
Separate 12 V and 24 V systems are available by enquiry, with other supply requirements assessed individually. For equipment installations needing standby cooling, specify the two circuits, power sources and changeover controls as part of the project.
The external compressor–condenser module and EVK5 cabin unit must be specified as a matched installation. Select the voltage, hose route, cabin air distribution and controls together before finalising the equipment layout.

Technical selection
Provide the cabin or enclosure size, insulation, operating temperature, internal heat load and available power. Cooling duty and electrical demand are confirmed for the selected assembly and installation.
Installation requirements
- Select the module, evaporator and controller as one system.
- Allow independent mounting and service space for the indoor and outdoor equipment.
- Define any standby operation, fault indication and power requirements.
- Provide separate indoor and outdoor installation locations.
- Request the dimensions and complete electrical load of the supplied build before fabrication.

Is the evaporator part of the module?
The SP-18 is the compressor–condenser module. A complete-system quotation identifies the evaporator and installation components separately.
Does one SP-18 provide redundant cooling?
No. Standby cooling requires a defined arrangement with separate equipment and suitable power, monitoring and changeover controls.
Are all SP-18 modules the same size and output?
The supplied voltage and assembly configuration determine the installation details. The quotation confirms the selected module, evaporator and performance requirements.
