Product details
The Rencool HP/LP Pressure Safety Switch provides the pressure-protection input required in a properly engineered electric air-conditioning system. It can interrupt the compressor run circuit if system pressure moves outside the protected range.
When you need it
- New MD-series split system: required unless an equivalent approved pressure-protection device is already fitted.
- Existing A/C integration: use the vehicle’s proven pressure-protection circuit or add this switch.
- RDK compressor-drive installation: pressure protection must be included in the final circuit design.
Before ordering
Confirm the refrigerant circuit, switch-port connection and required cut-out logic for the application. Pressure-switch fitting and final control wiring must be completed by a qualified automotive A/C technician.
