Cool and pressurise an underground mining equipment cab

HEAVY EQUIPMENT

Cool and pressurise an underground mining equipment cab

Cab cooling and cabin pressurisation solve different parts of the problem. Treat them as one engineered installation with filtered make-up air, sealed-cab leakage control, heat-load capacity, cleaning access and site requirements.

BEST STARTING POINT

A heavy-duty cooling system matched to the cab heat load, combined with a separately sized pressuriser and filtration arrangement.

SYSTEM APPROACH

How this comes together

01

Cab cooling

Choose rooftop or split equipment around heat load, ambient temperature, mounting and service access.

02

Pressurisation

Use filtered make-up air to maintain positive cabin pressure after leakage and door-opening effects are assessed.

03

Site integration

Confirm machine voltage, duty cycle, dust loading, vibration, washdown, approvals and planned maintenance.

BEFORE BUYING

Information that confirms the selection

Provide what you know. Unknown items can be resolved during technical review.

  • Machine model and underground duty
  • Cab dimensions, glazing and occupants
  • Ambient temperature and solar load
  • Target pressure or site exposure-control requirement
  • Dust, vibration, washdown and service conditions
  • Voltage, alternator and battery capacity

CONFIGURED PROJECT

Need the parts confirmed as one system?

Send the application, voltage, available power, operating environment, required duty and installation constraints. We will review the configuration before quoting.
