PROJECT WORKFLOW

From initial enquiry to agreed scope.

01

Initial brief

Division, application, product interest, quantity and timeframe.

02

Technical qualification

Power, heat load, layout, operating environment and interfaces.

03

Equipment selection

Included equipment, required documents and details still to be confirmed.

Bring the information you have.

Details can follow as the requirement develops.

  • Vehicle or equipment identification
  • Required quantities and delivery destination
  • Electrical supply and cooling requirements
  • Drawings, dimensions and installation restrictions
  • Required qualification evidence and document access conditions
  • Procurement reference and decision timeframe

DOCUMENT COORDINATION

Technical documentation, by configuration.

Can technical information be reviewed before the full specification is complete?+

Yes. Tell us the product or proposed system and the information you need. We will help identify the correct document and any access requirements.

How are restricted documents handled?+

Product specifications and available manuals are open on the product pages. Include any additional project deliverables in the RFQ scope.

How is platform fitment confirmed?+

Fitment, performance and any qualification requirements must be checked for the exact equipment and installation.

REQUEST FOR QUOTATION

Tell us what the equipment needs to do.

01

Application and quantity

Identify the vehicle or enclosure, operating duty, first quantity and possible repeat requirements.

02

Interfaces and documents

List power, controls, mounting constraints and required drawings or supporting evidence.

03

Delivery and acceptance

Include destination, target dates, packaging and acceptance requirements.

SPECIFICATIONS & ORDERING

Keep the agreed specification with each order.

The agreed quotation should identify exact models and variants, the supplied bill of materials, applicable documents and any items outside the supply scope. Repeat requirements should reference that configuration and revision.

If project documents have access restrictions, let us know at the start of the enquiry. Agree the appropriate handling arrangements before sharing them.

Can an RFQ cover several products?

Yes. Build a shortlist or identify the system requirement, then include quantities and document needs together.

Can a fleet requirement start before quantities are final?

Provide the known initial quantity and clearly label any later demand as indicative. Supply, schedule and commercial terms are then addressed in the quotation.

How do I request test reports or approvals?

Identify the required standard or acceptance criteria and the equipment being considered. The reports must cover the exact model and relevant test conditions.
