Can I keep the original evaporator?
Possibly. Supply its identity, condition, refrigerant, connections and any available performance information. It must be assessed with the selected compressor, condenser, expansion device and controls.
Does an electric compressor make the system engine-off capable?
The compressor can operate independently of an engine pulley, but parked operation also depends on the electrical supply, condenser fans, controls and the required runtime.
Can I order a compressor before the rest of the system is defined?
