BUYING GUIDE
Make room for the system and its service needs.
Early layout planning helps establish whether an arrangement can be installed and maintained before parts are ordered.
01
Draw the installation boundary
Identify the cabin or equipment space, the proposed external equipment and the parts of an existing system that will remain. Record the intended function of each assembly.
02
Use equipment drawings
Plan with the applicable mounting and connection drawings. Distinguish net equipment dimensions from shipping dimensions and leave the required service and airflow clearances.
03
Plan the air paths
Show the cabin supply and return-air paths, external intake and discharge, and any ducting. Avoid treating a physically convenient location as proof that airflow is adequate.
04
Record routing and drainage
Show the proposed refrigerant, electrical and condensate routes with access points. The selected system documentation governs installation details; there is no universal permitted route length for every product.
05
Agree installation and commissioning scope
Identify which party supplies brackets, wiring, hoses, controls and installation work. Establish the applicable commissioning instructions and records before the system is put into use.
