RHU heaters use electric elements and a fan to deliver warm air to the cabin. The range includes compact housings with a choice of outlets and the separate RHU8 configuration, so the heater can be selected around available space and electrical capacity.
Electric heating operates independently of the A/C refrigeration circuit.

What you get
The quotation identifies the heater model, voltage, element power, outlets and controls. Compact RHU and RHU8 are different builds. The compact body is 300 × 150 × 125 mm plus 35 mm outlet projection; those dimensions do not apply to RHU8. Cabin temperature control is separate from the internal over-temperature protection.

Compact RHU configuration
Choose one, two or three outlets. The 300 × 150 × 125 mm body excludes the outlet projection, which adds 35 mm. The powder-coated steel housing contains an 80 mm brushless fan.
Switching and temperature control
The compact RHU uses a remote solid-state relay and two internal over-temperature cut-outs. Cabin temperature control requires a separate control arrangement; over-temperature protection is not a cabin thermostat.
RHU8 configuration
The RHU8 is a separate heater build with a two-speed fan. The 12 V model is rated up to 750 W; the 24 V model is rated up to 1,000 W with a 750 W setting. Do not apply the compact RHU enclosure dimensions to the RHU8.
Power and airflow
Keep the air inlet and outlets unobstructed. Size the cables and circuit protection for the selected voltage, element combination and starting current.
- Allow safe mounting clearances and unobstructed airflow.
- Size wiring and protection for the complete heater assembly.
- Allow the specified clearances around the housing, ducts and hot-air outlets.
